This type of tubing spider is commonly called a Pneumatic Tubing Spider or Model C Spider. A Pneumatic Tubing Spider is designed to handle tubular ranging from 1.315” to 5.1/2”, and the rated capacity of this type of spider is up to 100 Tons. Pneumatic Tubing Spider is operated pneumatically with a help of a foot pedal which can be operated from a far distance which ensures the safety of the operator while tripping operation.
Autobahn Industries has a valid API-7K License for Tubing Spiders and all the spiders are made strictly in accordance to API-7K Specification. Spider is made from high-grade alloy steel, each spider is heat-treated to enhance its mechanical properties.
