This type of tubing spider is commonly called a Pneumatic Tubing Spider or Model C Spider. A Pneumatic Tubing Spider is designed to handle tubular ranging from 1.315” to 5.1/2”, and the rated capacity of this type of spider is up to 100 Tons. The pneumatic Tubing Spider is operated pneumatically with the help of a foot pedal, which can be operated from a far distance which ensuring the safety of the operator during tripping operation.
Autobahn Industries Tubing Spiders are made strictly in accordance with API-7K specifications. Spider is made from high-grade alloy steel; each spider is heat-treated to enhance its mechanical properties.
