Load Cells
The Autobahn has two types of Load Cells. Tension Type & Compression Type.
Tension-type load cells are used with the breakup and makeup Manual Tongs during the operation. These cells come with a digital indicator that indicates the torque applied during the makeup and break-up of pipe, tubing, casing joints, and drill collars. Load help is a very important instrument that helps operators show the torque applied, which may reduce the chance of any accident or causality.
The torque is indicated in foot-pounds applied.
Compression-type load cells are available in four capacities. All cells are heavy duty and the life span of the cells is supreme longevity, if calibrated & maintained as per the OEM user manual.
- Compression model load cells for Drill Pipe Slip designed for 100T,150T, and 250T.
- Compression model load cells for Master Bushing designed 500T.
