Autobahn manufactures the Pneumatic Backsaver or Power Slip Lifter, a pneumatically operated power tool designed to lift drill pipe slips. Its purpose is to reduce personnel fatigue and minimize injuries by enabling remote operation from the driller’s cabin or stand- alone control panels. Additionally, it extends the life of slips and inserts by properly setting and raising them.
The Slip Lifter is compatible with Autobahn’s drill pipe slips (SDS, SDML & SDXL) ranging from 2.3/8” to 7.5/8”, as well as with any other API brand slips.
