Autobahn’s Manual Drill Collar Slips prevent bottlenecking and gouging damage while providing superior contact and vertical load distribution for drill pipes.
Each slip segment is cast with an extra-long back, offering maximum support to the circular button-gripping elements. The multi-segmented drill collar slip is manufactured from heat-treated alloy steel, ensuring exceptional wear resistance and maximum load-carrying capacity. Strong and balanced, these slips are designed to minimize crew fatigue and maintenance, providing extended performance.
Our slips are meticulously designed and manufactured in accordance with API-7K Specifications. Drill Collar Slips are available in three types, accommodating all popular drill collar sizes ranging from 3” OD to 14” OD.

- Slips are hardened and tempered, which increases the lifespan of the product and provides excellent strength, increasing wear resistance.
- Drill Collar Slips are used with Slip Bowl No. 1,2 & 3
- Slips come with taper; 4 inches per foot on the diameter as per API-7K specification.
- Segments have extra-long backs, ensuring sufficient strength & support to the inserts.
- Slips are made flat on top to ensure the smooth fitting of the multi-purpose clamp.
- Circular Buttons can be replaced at the rig site itself in a very short time by simply removing the locking arrangements & retainers.
- Products are manufactured in accordance with HSE guidelines.
